The Jacksonville Section – National Council of Negro Women members exercised their commitment to its mission, “To lead, advocate for and empower women of African descent, their families and communities,” by giving back to the communities in which they reside. The Jacksonville Section of NCNW, operated in a spirit of unity as they banded together to participate in being blessings to others.

During the holiday season the Jacksonville Section of NCNW, under the leadership of Executive Director Kruzshander Scott purchased gift cards and non-perishable food items fit for a Thanksgiving feast in hopes to fulfill a yearly goal to offer random acts of kindness to families within the community.
